Installed 81 ft of 1x6x8' cedar fence on steel postsThis was without a doubt the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. The initial bid was "wrong" (due to the estimator's error - he's no longer with the company - and then second bid was 50% higher. In hindsight, I should have contracted for that first bid instead of waiting 60 days to commit. Nothing! I called for an estimate weeks ago and followed with an e-mail last week. They did come out to measure, find out what we'd like, and tell me that he'd, "Have it to me soon." I have never received an estimate or further contact.They never responded after initial visit.
Nathan came to give me and my daughter an estimate for a fence.Nathan showed up on time to give me an estimate on 1 side of my fence. My neighbor and I were going to pay half. We wanted metal poles and new gates. My daughter had the same thing. He measured both fences and said he would send me an email within a few days. I called and made an appointment with Nathan. He showed up at the appointment time. I wanted an estimate for two fences. Nathan said he would get back with us with an e-mail. Never heard back from him. One week went by so I wrote Ryan (on Angies list) and asked if I should get in touch with him or with Nathan. Now it's been 2 weeks and haven't heard from either one. A quote on replacing an old fence.I looked up this company on Angie's list and their rating was decent. So I called and scheduled a quote. Nathan came out, asked a few questions and then informed me that he would be sending an email with the quote the following day. I did not receive the quote Giving him the benefit of doubt I decided to send an email (just in case he could not read my writing) letting him know that I was waiting on his quote before I made a decision. Quote for new fence 4' fence installation.We recently contacted this company to get a quote for a new fence installation. The representative arrived on the date and time expected and seemed to be a nice guy. He requested that we send him an e-mail so he'd have an e-mail address to which to send the quote within a few days. It has been 9 full business days (12 calendar days) since his visit and we've neither received an e-mail nor a phone call. Needless to say, we'll have our fence installed by another company.
By email,we contacted this company for an estimate on fencing our backyard.The company responded and made an appointment to come by our house and give us a bid.We waited for the rep but he was a no show.No show from the company rep.
I have used Rustic in the past. I have had several posts replaced by rustic. I emailed the rep.who was great before. I got a response from the company. I asked for a quote to replace a post that was leaning where it joins the house. When the estimator (a new estimator) left the quote, I noticed that it included TWO fence posts. We did not use this contractor. Their salesman/estimator promised a bid by email "tomorrow" on 03/02/2011. His bid came via email nearly 48 hours later- a full 24 hours past due. Our concern was if you do not get your bid to us in the time frame you specified, will your work be performed with the same lack of punctuality?
